Summer 2011

Well our very quick very busy summer was satisfying. It started with cub scout day camp, me being the den leader got to attened with Magnus. It was hot and long but the boys loved it!! The next week was some catching up on work to save up for our other adventures. The next week Hayden, Zoie, Mag, and I hopped on a plane to Sacramento to spend time with cousins and say farewell to the Shepherds who were leaving for Vietnam. We had a great time and drove home in our new Subaru which we bought from the Sheps. While we were in Sac Erik and Ryker set out on there 50 mile hike up on the Rim with the scouts. 5 days and some serious hiking they finished satisfied. Ryker said he saw rattlesnakes and Elk. We then turned around and sent Zoie and Hayden up to Long Valley to Girls Camp. Which of course is always great. The girls always come back filthy and very happy. Then for the 4th of July this year my mom wanted to be at the Beach, So lucky us we spent the week with family and some friends lying on the Beach. After the Beach we had alittle time left before school was starting so Sonya and I decided to meet at the Zemans for a little Vaca with the kids. We rolled into town Sunday night at 9:30. Threw some things together to start school the next morning, and called it a summer!!!
